Some feedback.

bp root on secondary blog. (BP Group Hierarchy -deactivated) – bp default theme.
A New Blog IS created at http://examplesite.com/newgroupblog/ when “Or,create a new blog” is clicked
However
1) when you click “Save Changes” the first link is to ……admin/group-blog which appears to be an unformatted admin/group-blog page.
2) The link from the “Blog” link on the group ‘front page’ redirects CORRECTLY to the blog
2) the title of the new blog is not carried from what was entered.

and clicking the “Blog” link on the group ‘front page’ brings you to WordPress Error and “No site defined on this host. If you are the owner of this site, please check Debugging a WordPress Network for help.”
I just think this plugin will be a major addition to Buddypress .
When Bp group hierarchy is active the “Blog” link does not appear on the group ‘front page’ but the blog is created.
